  • “The Richmond Bed and Breakfast is an excellent place to stay in Shanklin. It is off the main road, so quiet, but near enough to walk to shops and restaurants. It is also a great base to explore the island. The facilities are very good, lovely and clean with friendly hosts. The breakfasts were excellent.”

  • Ward Avenue B&B Review score: 9

“It is a cute little “chalet” down the bottom of the garden. The room was very comfortable and private and it had everything we needed plus a bit more! Two friendly, polite dogs and an inquisitive little wren who would join us for breakfast! The cooked breakfast was very substantial along with yogurt, cereal & coffee. There was plenty of free street parking nearby. Overall a very enjoyable stay.”

  • “Good bed, good shower ,”

“It was a pleasant, friendly place to stay, excellent breakfasts and we were well looked after by the owners. It was ideally situated in the pretty Shanklin Old Village and near the main road. We had decided to take advantage of the excellent I.O.W bus services to get around, so were near bus stops. Shanklin Chine was nearby too.”
