    “A little gem of a hotel. Basic but clean, comfortable, hot water, with a great little restaurant. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the surrounding hills. It is about 4 km from the edge of the crater but the hotel arranged a jeep for the next morning to take us to King Kong hill and Bromo - for only AUD$55. We thought this hotel was a real 'find.' Loved it.”

    “If you want to experience rural Indonesian life, here's the place! Wonderful homestay with a friendly older couple. They don't speak English, but we had really interesting conversations with Google translate. Purwadi showed me around the town, we visited his relatives and went to a big local festival together (Kebo-Keboan). Had a lot of fun! The room in the upper floor is spacious and clean, there's a "veranda" with a table and a private bathroom. Prolonged my stay twice as I liked it so much.”

RIFAT (the manager) was just so supportive and friendly at all times and I could see from the interaction he had with me and fellow occupants that he went out of his way to make everyone feel at home. The staff were always attentive and the extra "add-on" of a family-style "goodbye and see you again" send off was simply heart-warming. Keep it up RIFAT, you have an amazing place which is cost-effective and vey comfortable. 5 star!”
