“Friendly staff, great location, great breakfast”

  • Le Brunet Review score: 7

“Basic lodging, clean and adequately comfortable. The reception staff was wonderful. Good breakfast with very good coffee. It was nice to have a small balcony to enjoy the view. Ski station and plenty of beautiful hikes in the area.”

  • HOSTELLERIE du CANTAL Review score: 9

“Nice area, breakfast was very convenient, nice rooms with toaster, coffee machine , microwave and a fridge with snacks and things for breakfast ( don’t have to pay extra to eat or drink anything inside !)”

  • “The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking on the street at the front (the hotel does have a small car park but the spaces are very tight and the entrance/exit is very narrow). The owners are lovely and speak reasonable English. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable but a the decor is a little tired. Our room was exceptionally hot but that wasn’t the the fault of the hotel, we just happened to stay on one of the hottest days of the year. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.”

  • Le Rocher Du Cerf Review score: 9

“Very helpful staff. Nice food good service”

  • Hotel Beauséjour Review score: 9

“Wonderful hospitality, excellent food, and a great location. Run by a charming French couple who always make us feel welcome. The restaurant food is good value - you can't go wrong with the delicious menu du jour in a grand dining room blessed with beautiful views of the valley and surrounding hills. The location in the heart of the Cantal is great for walking and cycling. Bonus points for the orange juicer at breakfast that turns out properly fresh orange juice.”

  • Hôtel St Joseph Review score: 7

“The hotel is nicely located, near the main road but it's a quiet place. You need a few minutes to get there from the main road. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the contact with them is very good - even if you come quite late (as I did). There is a small restaurant / pub which is pretty nice.”

  • “Nice place to spend a couple of days relaxing by the pool, looking at the mountains and forgetting about the world. The staff is very friendly and responsive”
