“Modern and comfortable hut provided with all the facilities for a relaxing stay. Amazing breakfast and super nice owner was very accommodating. The location is just perfect for those who want to hike the volcano. Recommended”

“We stayed at Hotel L'Ecrin for one night while hiking the GR R2 trail on Réunion Island. I highly recommend it to all hikers, as it's located very close to the trail. The hotel is pleasant, clean, with comfortable beds and a beautiful garden. The receptionist was friendly and spoke English, which was a great help. There’s also a restaurant right next door where we had an excellent dinner.”

“The sauna and the jacuzzi are a great way to relax after a long hike on the volcano. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious.”
