“We had a fantastic time here. The place is peaceful and so beautiful! We were in the chalet “experiencia” where it feels like you’re sleeping in the forest but you’re protected inside (lot of monkeys in the forest 😍)!
Best breakfast we had in a long time! Everything is homemade, organic, healthy and also it varies each morning. Betty and Jessica are the best, it was a 5star service, they are extremely helpful and nice. They offer multiple services: laundry, massages, guide, a cook that comes over prepare your dinner, etc. We asked to have dinner there, a very kind lady came over and cooked a fantastic dinner.
It is very well located not even 5min from Cahuita.
Thank you Betty and Jessica, for sure we will come back.”
“Namu hotel was beautiful, peaceful and a great place to unwind. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff were really friendly”
“If you want to spend a few nights in the middle of the jungle but can't do without the luxury of a great pool area, this is the place for you. Howler monkeys populated the trees of the complex, and at night you could hear the jungle come to life. And you should know that you have to take a boat taxi to reach the center of Tortugero, where the restaurants, all the shops, and the tour operators are located. However, the crossing is short, and you can even use the hotel boat for free at certain times. And this small inconvenience is definitely worth staying in the jungle instead of Tortugero “town.””
“Location on the beach is stunning. The staff worked soooooo hard and long hours to keep everyone happy and served. It's a 20 minute walk into the town along the road or beach and tuk tul taxis are widely available. The balcony's in thw ocean rooms are great spacious with hammocks to take in the view.”
“We stayed for a week in Exotico and enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was super nice and the premises are really something else. Within 3 minutes you are at the beach and the pool in the hotel is very nice too. The breakfast was also very good.”
“The bungalow was definitely the best accommodation of our trip to Costa Rica. It was large, had a proper kitchen, and a great outdoor area with a dining table and hammock from which you could watch and listen to the hustle and bustle in the garden, or should I say “jungle.” Due to the agoutis that apparently live there, the macaws in the trees next door, the monkeys and iguanas, and the howler monkeys that can always be heard, a visit to a national park was hardly necessary. We already miss our morning coffee on the terrace. The path to Playa Chicita, which was criticized in some of the comments, is perfectly fine, but I would recommend other beaches (Punta Uva) anyway.”
