    “The hostel is a good place to stay in Kuta. The staff is friendly and the scooter rent is cheap too. I met nice peoole over there which made my stay even better. In general it is clean but the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. All in all a decent hostel :)”

Gunn (the manager) took us on a culture tour of the surrounding villages which was brilliant (defo recommended) and Eddie took us on a walking tour through rice fields to waterfalls and spice villages (also fab). It's beautiful - quirky little cottages/bungalows and the restaurant area is great to hang out in.”

    “We stayed at Origin Lombok and absolutely loved the experience. The resort has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for families as well as couples. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view and easy access to the pool. The design feels modern yet tropical, blending in beautifully with the natural surroundings. The staff were all very warm, friendly, and attentive plus always ready to help with a smile. We brought along our baby and young child, and the team went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The resort is very family-friendly while still keeping a relaxing, boutique feel. Overall, Origin Lombok gave us a perfect mix of comfort, great service, and authentic Lombok experiences. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kuta Lombok!”

    “We had a really good stay at Scallywag’s Resort in Gili Trawangan. The location is excellent — only about a 5-minute walk from the ferry port, so you can easily reach it on foot with your luggage. The road leading to the hotel is lively, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, which is perfect if you’re looking for some atmosphere and things to do nearby. We stayed in a suite inside the hotel, which was great because it was quiet — we didn’t hear any noise from the street. The pool was also very nice and secluded, tucked away from the road, making it feel private and relaxing. The hotel does feel like it could use a bit of renovation, especially in the rooms, as they’re starting to look a little old. That said, the restaurant was very good, and the breakfast (included in the price) was excellent — definitely a highlight of the stay. Overall, a great experience with a fantastic location and good amenities, though a bit of renovation would make it even better.”

    “This place is a slice of heaven. The hotel is well designed and it has very few rooms so it feels intimate and there is always loungers and seating areas available. The snorkeling in front of the hotel is great, we saw turtles a small shark and many fish. The owner makes an effort to create a personal experience. Swimming pool in the centre of the rooms is pleasant and the restaurant by the beach is ideal. Kayak, bikes and snorkelling gear are available without cost. The hotel is adults only so its more peaceful by design.”
