  SUNRISE Anjum Resort Review score: 9

  “Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Sunrise Anjum hotel, as a family of five (with three older teens). We were sad to leave, although nice touches like a travel lunch box and free late check out were really appreciated. Throughout the stay we were well cared for by the Front Office team, with regular check ins by phone and whats app to ensure all was well. Particular mention for the Front Office Manager Mr Mohamed Magdy whose service and support was exceptional. The multiple pools were really lovely, and we enjoyed them very much. The beach and jetty were also nice and we saw some impressive fish in the coral. However, it was nothing like the trips we went on (organised very well by Ahmed from the diving school). The snorkelling at Wadi El Gemal was out of this world and so highly recommended- swimming in a wild and beautiful aquarium! The service was good in all areas and we must particularly mention the staff at the splash bar who really looked after us well- iced caramel coffees in the morning and delicious cocktails in the afternoon. We also made multiple visits to the spa- which was amazing. Although we have visited many spas throughout the world, we thought this one was truly first class- with amazing massages and a beautiful jacuzzi room. In the first days we were a little nervous with the multiple approaches for various things like beauty centre, dive school, spa, animation- but it was done in a kind and friendly way and in hindsight it was really nice as all the visits and things we did were great. Particular mention to Lucie from the animation team who was really special and a real asset to the hotel. A really sincere and kind person, always smiling and checking all okay. Although we didn’t do too many, the animation activities were all really good, especially the dance shows and the fire show. Overall, a fab hotel and highly recommended.”

  “Pros: Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. Special thanks to Mr. Abanoub and Mr. Ahmed at the reception, Mr. Ali from housekeeping, Mr Kirolus from the bar and Ms. Rose from the animation team. The family room was spacious with a beautiful view of the sea and pool. Food tasted very good and was of high quality, although the variety was extremely limited. Great value for money. Drinks were good and fairly diverse. The number of guests was very suitable for the size of the resort, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Most guests were international, which added a nice vibe to the stay.”

  “I would like to thank to all staff. So kindly people with smile face every day, every time inspite of hardwork. Especially Mr. Ali from the reception - very helpful 🫶 and Mr. Ahmed from the restaurant - our children loved him so much and staff on the top of toboggans 🖐️Nice safe place with big garden and really many pools. Good food. Always clean public toilets. We would like to come back next year.”

  “I stayed with my family in two Deluxe Sea View rooms (1207 & 1208) from 21–28 August, on our first visit to Marsa Alam. The destination is perfect for anyone seeking relaxation, unspoiled nature, and exciting marine or safari activities. Our stay at the Steigenberger Coraya Beach Hotel was an excellent choice for me and my family, especially since it was our first time at an Adults Only (18+) hotel. The experience was wonderful for anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Every evening there are enjoyable theatre shows for about half an hour, as well as lively poolside parties, and if your stay includes a Wednesday, you will enjoy a fantastic Bedouin Night with a delicious Mandi dinner and traditional Bedouin shows that add a magical touch to the atmosphere. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire hotel team for their refined manners and elegant service. In particular: Mr. Bahgat Abdelhamid for his professionalism, and constant presence to ensure guests’ comfort, always attentive and quick to resolve any remark. Reception team (Mr. Mina and Mr. Ahmed) for their kindness and responsiveness. Of course, my gratitude goes to every member of the team without exception. It was truly an unforgettable stay, and I look forward to coming back again!”

  “Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The general manager Mr Mahdi and his team were incredibly helpful and professional and the staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. In addition to this, there was a variety of delicious food available every day with refreshing drinks at the pool, beach and aqua park. The beach, pool and aqua park were all absolutely amazing, allowing us to really enjoy our stay at Amarina Queen Resort, which could not have happened without the wonderful hospitality of the staff. When we had a special event for my son, the staff’s friendliness and enthusiasm into celebrating it with us and bringing us a cake really meant a lot to us and we can’t thank them enough for it. We can not wait to come back again and we really recommend Amarina Queen Resort to anyone considering to come.”
