Comfortable bed and good facilities, little refrigerator in the room and telescope! Location was great and the free electric buses to take you through the park were great.”

    “This is a great hostel very close to the ferry in Playa del Carmen + the beach (approx 5 min walk). The people who work there are very friendly + helpful, and go above + beyond to help you out! The hostel itself (rooms, kitchen, reception) is spacious + clean, exactly as pictured. It has a nice rooftop with a little pool, and they run yoga sessions on the roof every weekday morning for a small additional fee. Overall exceeded my expectations + would definitely return if I ever go back to the area.”

Atmosphere a bit off as we went in August (low season), nevertheless there was some live DJ and people around both nights we stayed at Monkey’s. Position is ok, 20 mins walking from the centre and 5 mins car to the zona hotelera. Private rooms are same level of an hotel. Good quality price overall”

    “As a solo traveler, I had the most perfect four day stay at Lula. The amenities, the room, the attention to details, the beautiful beach, and great restaurant made the stay unforgettable. I will definitely come back. Coffee station in the room and tea service at night were such a nice touch. Nice and quiet, with exceptionally good staff that was attentive and took care of the guests. Definitely recommend!”
