  • Ikweta Safari Camp Review score: 10

“Loved the clean tidy feel of the site. Loved the 'tent', very much a large room with good bathroom. Loved the feel of the park the camp was set in. Lots of amazing vegetation. Loved the closeness of the less visited Meru park. Loved the intimate feel of the site, big effort made to make us feel welcome and gave a lot of help to get our guide there. Loved going to a local town and walking round it. Best of all were the staff, friendly, helpful and excellent service from cheerful well trained people. Some only stay one night, mistake, we stayed 3 nights and wasn't enough. Finally many hotels play the 'saving the environment' card but its really an excuse to try and save money for the hotel chain (you know who you are!), Ikweta really lives the environmental and conservation life. Its not just lip service, everything is well thought out and environmentally as good as it gets.”
