“A beautiful chateau in a wonderful setting. It has an authentic ambience, and the staff are cheerful and very helpful. It's a perfect place to stop off en route so one night is perfect. The rooms are grand if a little dated. There are no in room facilities (no fridge/coffee or tea making facilities) so in that sense if has a basic feel, but the rooms are clean spotless and there's lots of hot water for a deep bath. The gardens are peaceful and relaxing with an amazing view over the valleys and villages...perfect of a summer evening drinking wine.”

“The location was reasonably convenient for the town. There were free car parks, not belonging to the hotel, nearby. They were quite busy, but there was capacity, including EV charging. The receptionist was reasonably efficient, but not communicative.”
