  • Marygrove Manor Review score: 10

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Review for Marygrove Manor – Detroit, Michigan I had the pleasure of staying at Marygrove Manor while attending the People's Conference for Palestine, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful — quaint, peaceful, and full of character. It’s one of those areas where you can just feel the history in the trees and the houses, and the whole vibe made me feel safe and welcomed. The house itself is something else — it has a presence. I don’t know when it was built, but it felt like a piece of history in the best possible way. The architecture, the details, the energy — it was like staying inside a storybook. The price was unbeatable for the space and location, and I felt incredibly fortunate to find it. What made the experience truly unforgettable, though, was the community. This was a diverse, kind, and deeply soulful neighborhood. I stopped at a local barbecue joint nearby— and I was met with nothing but smiles, warmth, and real conversation. Everyone I met in the area treated me with kindness and respect. It reminded me of the way America should feel everywhere: connected, neighborly, and full of heart. If you’re looking for a unique and meaningful place to stay in Detroit — one that’s rooted in community and spirit — I can’t recommend Marygrove Manor enough. Betty J Thompson Marion Iowa”
