“Cosy room on the top floor with a fabulous view of Kronborg slot and the harbour, town. We had booked a standard room and was lucky to have been given room 450. Quiet and the hotel was right near the train and ferry, and town centre. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good for what we needed. We made salad on breadrolls to take with and the man on duty kindly wrapped these in plastic wrap to keep secure. Bathroom was small but renovated and very clean. My wife and I liked the firm beds. Even near the centre, it was fairly quiet.”

“Great location. Easy access to all Helsingor has to offer and to transport links for further afield. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and it was good to have tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is in an old building so is a little quirky in places.”

  • Hotel Villa Brinkly Review score: 10

“We stayed on a Friday evening when supper was an option. Don’t bother booking anywhere else for a meal, the food was fantastic & delightful hosts & staff. We stayed in room 2 with a forest view, as we thought that would be quieter than the roadside. However the road was very quiet with little traffic, so it wouldn’t have been a problem. I am slightly concerned that my husband’s horrific snoring kept our neighbours awake during the night as the walls were quite thin. I resorted to my noise cancelling headphones. The beach is a short walk, minutes, away & there were people swimming in late August. The bus stop to Helsingor is right outside & the train is a 20 minute walk away. We highly recommend as a quiet and unassuming, but delightful place to stay.”
