    “An amazing exterior! A real sense of occasion it is very close to the town centre, and you can access the path along the river in seconds. The building was built as a hospital and operated as one for over a century so the public areas are rather grander than the rooms, which are comfortable rather than spectacular. An enormous choice of breakfast and good to be able to eat inside or outside. If you have a car, there is a large tiefgarage.”

    “It is quirky and lovely with very kind staff. The connected restaurant is great with excellent food and the hotel serves a really lovely breakfast. Some of the features of the hotel were not 100% suitable to mobility impaired guests, but the hotel pointed out after our stay they do have facilities for this - we did not know at the time unfortunately.”
