“Great Albanian hospitality! The food is delicious and plentiful (you can even make a packed lunch at breakfast), the host speaks English, great location at the beginning of the Korab trail.”
“The Place is stunning. The view from the room's balconing is breath-taking.
The breakfast on the terrace is sublime.
It's a hotel in the middle of the mountains; we got there from Tirana through a very easy and well kept main road, and then had 2 scary last minutes in a very hard slippery road (just for experienced drivers); later we discovered there is a new easy road that Google does not know about.
We entered and the personnel was not prepared for our arrival, they had us wait for a few minutes and than a lady accompanied us upstairs running from room to room looking for a "ready" one.
There was no ready room: they put us in the only room with a made bed, but there were no towels, soap or slippers (a pair of slippers was there, actually; used and dirty).
The lady kindly gave us new ones.
The bathroom remained dirty, despite the kindness of the lady.
Other minor disattentions and problems here and there: you can plug either the TV or the fridge; our little carpet for the shower was also dirty; the lights in the rooms are too cold, which give a feeling of attention and work instead of calm and cozyness; the inclination of the shower head is not compatible with the lack of a shower tent, cause the whole bathroom gets inevitably wet - the given slippers do not grip on the wet bathroom's floor, with the high risk of slipping; wifi was not constant; the night we slept there, they hosted a birthday party in the restaurant and had incredible high volume music until over midnight and it was of course perfectly hearable from the rooms three floors above; the are no balconies at the window, so we woke up forcedly at sunrise (though, a wonderful sunrise).
The architecture has a huge potential, and also the garden outside, though the management looked like lacking a lot.”
