“Christine is a wonderful host and she is helping with everything. We enjoyed it staying there very much. The only thing it could be improved is payment with credit card.”
“Fabrice was an awesome host and staying at the house felt very authentic. As for all of Raiatea, it is important to know that you should rent a car as otherwise you would not be able to really enjoy the island. Since the house does not have walls or air conditioning, of course, there are mosquitoes and it can get very hot during the day. But this is clearly laid out in the description of the accommodation and I would consider this being part of the experience. There are multiple fans in the house. Make sure to bring and put insect repellent.”
“Half board is included with the price. The breakfast was continental but had bacon and sausages and boiled eggs as well with jams like papaya, banana or pineapple, made in house, on french bread.
The dinners were impressive as well, where you had to choose either a starter and a main or main and dessert. It was outstanding! We hired a car from the hotel and drove the ring road around the island which was easily done in a day with stops along the way. We stopped at Opoa Beach Restaurant for lunch which did not disappoint - the view from the restaurant of the palm trees and ocean was also beautiful”
“Gill and Harriette have been family to us! They are amazing - the villa is super nice and clean - we had access to a private beach - and we enjoyed our talks and discovering Raiatea through their suggestions and recommendations. They have two villas in the property - so it is quiet and reserved. Great comfort, their kitchen has everything you need. You can ask for suggestions on tours around the island and Tahaa. We loved our stay and we hope we are going to see them again in the near future. Thank you for the long chats discovering the polynesia culture. Raiatea will stay in our hearts!”
“A 10 out of 10 hotel. They knew it was our honeymoon and had several special touches ready for our arrival. The hotel has everything you need and the staff is incredibly attentive (special thanks to Elodie and Kohai).
They also help you with any excursions you’d like to do.
If we come back to Raiatea, we’ll definitely stay here again!”
“Picked up at the Airport by very friendly owner who gave us both Lai's and taken directly to a supermarket to purchase our food, then straight to our Lodgings. Very nice house, in a good location right on a beach. Kayaks provided to use to get to edge of reef for some really good snorkeling. Close to Taputaputea and other good walks that we really enjoyed. Great that it came with a car as Raiatea is a big island. We normally have hired scooters on other islands but a car was good to have on Raiatea.”
