“Everything was very good.
The position is close to the center of Miraflores but also not too close to the movida part so quite quiet at night.
The room was clean and exactly as in the photo.
The breakfast was also good.
But the main reason I would recommend this place is the staff, very welcoming and always willing to give some suggestions.”
“Everything about the hostel is that it was nice/good. Friendly staff, ok breakfast, nice bedroom with bathroom. Easy walk around neighbourhood. Arrived early and allowed into our room. So all just fine-average and at a price point.”
“I left my heart in Lima. I stayed there for an entire month and I felt very lucky to have found La Preferida. For an exceptional price I had a mini apartment; a double bedroom with lots of storage and room to move around, plus a private bathroom and a separate area for eating, located in a residential neighbourhood which felt very safe. I enjoy urban hiking and I found this to be ideally placed for visiting everywhere in Lima. There were two enormous supermarkets within a 10 minute walk, a gourmet fish burger Café directly opposite the accommodation and a small selection of cafés, bakeries and restaurants tucked into the surrounding streets, which made it feel like a quieter version of Miraflores. There is a major bus route about 10 minutes away, but I can’t comment on it as I chose not to use Ubers or public transport, but I believe they are both very cheap.
I hope I will be this lucky with my choice of accommodation next time I visit Peru.”
“This was one of the best stays I've ever had in my life, and I have stayed in hundreds of places all around the world!!! From the very beginning, Percy, Patrizia and their cute cat Renato made me feel like at home. Their house is so cozy, the room very spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the environment quiet (which is difficult to find in Lima). The location in San Isidro is great. And every morning I got a delicious and big breakfast. I also enjoyed a lot talking with Patrizia and Percy and felt like being part of a family. This is now my absolute favourite place in Lima and I will go back there in a heartbeat.”
