He would let us know about auroras and also gave us a lot of information about the area and helped us with orientation in the town and with finding transfer to railway station. The whole accommodation is freshly renovated and especially the kitchen is quite modern.”

  “Small and cosy hut that accomodates up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Lovely living room/kitchen, hot shower. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and offer breakfast if you wish. For dinner go to the fjällstation (reservation!), it‘s about 15 min walk to the fjällstation, 10 min to the bus stop.”

  “Great location in being between old town and new town (as of 2025). While it is a bit further from old town walking distance wise it is also conveniently placed near the bus stop and very close to the new center of town. Stig is a wonderful soul, who is always on hand to help and suggest where to go and what to do. During our stay he showed such immense hospitality, taking us to a great lunch buffet place, cooking us fish he caught, and letting us use his sauna among many other things. He’s on hand to help, we had an issue with our keys one night which was fixed really quickly. I guess another important feature is that you have easy access to view the northern lights from just outside of the guesthouse!”
