  • “We loved the lodge and the location. Its out of arisaig and very quiet. Our neighbours we friendly too. There is nothing i can find to fault it. Straight forward instruction. Hassle free and you get what is stated on the description.”

  • Clan Macduff Hotel Review score: 8

“Super view with balcony overlooking loch. Very friendly, fun and helpful staff.”

  • Kingswood Lodges Review score: 10

“Stunning surroundings in a beautiful pod, interiors are gorgeous and homely. The location is excellent, 10 mins drive from the pier and high st. Exceeded expectations and would definitely book again!”

  • “Unlike what other reviews would imply, it's perfectly adequate accomodation. The bathroom is brand new and clean, and the room is basic but fine.”

  • Alexandra Hotel Review score: 6

“The convenience of the property being close to the station.”

  • “I liked everything about the property - the host was lovely and the room clean and tidy. The location was fantastic, the breakfast was lovely, and the parking was free. The host very kindly let me park there while I went to see the Harry Potter train and let me borrow an umbrella!”

  • “The rooms had everything you need for a good nights sleep. Beds are ok, there was a big loading station with different ports (enough for 6 people) and a small table. The team was very committed to make everyone happy. The hostel was clean, very cozy, well organized and offered an overall very inviting experience. I haven't slept in a dorm room for almost 6 years and really enjoyed the whole experience. They offer a washing and drying service, which is a life-safer. It's also notable that Fort William is not the go-to destination for drinking parties and the people a more relaxed and enjoy nature. So everyone respected the night-time and rules. It is an old house, the view from the common room is wonderful. Be aware, that it is still a hostel for a very good price.”

  • The Wee Lodge Review score: 10

“Loved the location, the view over Loch Morar sitting on the decking was beautiful and the Wee Lodge had everything we needed.”
