    “Lovely place! The location is perfect: 5-7 minutes walk to the parque principal and on the way to Las Gachas, El Salitre and La Gloria. As it was low season and not very busy, they upgraded me to a better room which is very kind. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and good wifi. Erika, the lady who runs the place, is incredibly warm and welcoming: whatever you need, she will do her best to help you! The kitchen is well equipped and there was free drinking water. I visited a few other accommodations in town and for the price, this is definitely the best choice.”

    “Unforgettable stay in a beautiful mountain home Lovely house with breathtaking views over the mountains. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly cosy. The host was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. The house is full of fascinating artefacts that give it real character. There’s a fantastic walk to a nearby village that starts just 100 metres away. Many great restaurants in the village. Everything was great — if we had to mention anything, it’s that the towels could be a little thicker, but that’s a very minor detail. We would definitely return — a truly unforgettable experience.”

    “Juan the nicest man in Colombia!! He was so warm and friendly, sent links to local attractions and restaurants/cafes, speaks very good English and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an amazing shower. We also really enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfast (fresh fruit, egg and pastries), as well as the stocked mini fridge in the room. The location was great and close to everything. I would 100% recommend you stay with Juan if you are coming to Barichara, this place is great value for money!”
