“Very friendly owner. Beautiful location between the green agricultural fields and 2 minutes walking from the city center and sea line. Very basic but clean rooms. The mattresses are very firm and in need of replacement. The guesthouse could use an airconditioner because of the location between the beautiful green area there’s no wind at all. Very warm and humid. Meanwhile 50 meters down the road the sea breeze cools down enough.”

“It is close to the port what allows you to take easily the ferry. The staff was so nice, she helped us a lot by calling some places we needed to call because we didn’t have a SIM card. The food of the restaurant was very tasty and good.”

“Me and my sister had a wonderful time at Casa das Ilhas. We did amazing hikes, thanks to the owner Katelijne, who indicated the routes on our phone and arranges the transfer to the starting point of the hike. That was really great! Each evening we enjoyed a tasty dinner after a long day of hiking. The rooms are basic but contain everything you need, including a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back!”
