Recent reviews

  • Merdeka Guest House 2 Review score: 10

“Very nice staff, the room has everything needed”

  • Hi-Inn Review score: 5

“Clean room and bathroom, water, kettle. Kind people.”

  • Kuching Transit Inn Review score: 10

    “Good service when needed”

  • “From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were treated with warmth, courtesy and a desire to help us make the most of our time in Kuching. Character- laden decor in the public areas. Comfortable and perfectly adequate rooms. Ours were en suite but shared facilities and hot/cold drinking water dispensers were on each floor. Fabulous location within easy walking distance of a large portion of the "sights and experiences" of Kuching city. Equally convenient, only a brief walk to two bus stations from where we were able to catch local buses to Semmengoh and to Bako jetty. "Grab" was an inexpensive option for our visit to the Cultural Village. Numerous inexpensive local eateries and street food vendors close by, including a food court in the local mall (a 6 or 7 minute walk) featuring a dozen or more traditional food vendors. The second floor balcony provided a prime viewing spot for the nightly light spectacular over the river.”
