  “The hotel is a great location to begin an exploration of Snaefellsnes peninsula. The rooms are a little basic in a block that is of portacabin type construction, however, they are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side but with a good shower. The views from the hotel, to the sea at the front and the glacier topped volcano at the back are beautiful. The hotel staff were all freindly and helpful and dinner in the restaurant was excellent (but be aware that there are not really any cheaper options and there isn't really anywhere else to go). However, the breakfast was included and was really good and set us up well for a busy day of sightseeing. So, all in all, this was a pretty good value stay.”
