  “We had a very pleasant stay at this charming boutique hotel. The view from the property is truly stunning, and the rooms are wonderfully decorated with great attention to detail, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. The location is also ideal for exploring the area, though it’s worth noting that the hotel sits at the top of a hill. For those who are less fit or travelling on foot, the climb can be a bit of a challenge. Inside the hotel, there are stairs but no lift, which may also be something to keep in mind for guests with mobility issues. Parking is available within the secure hotel area, though spaces are very limited – only about five – so planning ahead is advisable if you’re arriving by car. Breakfast was generally enjoyable, and on two of the mornings we were offered a nice eggs menu prepared fresh. However, on the third morning no cook was available, which was a little disappointing given the otherwise high standard of service. All in all, this is a lovely boutique hotel with lots of charm and personality. If you’re looking for a unique place with beautiful views and don’t mind a bit of climbing or limited parking, it’s well worth a stay.”

  “We were unable to get to the hotel by the required time, but with help from the bar staff, we were able to contact a lady to help us get checked in. Iveta Lutovska took time away from her family celebration of a new born grandson to come to the hotel to get us settled in.”

  “The price was superb. It’s 20 eu for a room to yourself, but between more than one would make for unbeatable value. The corridor upstairs has all the cooking equipment needed for self catering and it is right next to the historical centre of Tabor, making it not only greatly attractive as a place to stay but even for day trips to and from overpriced towns such as Cesky Krumlov 90 minutes or so both ways. Tabor itself is a remarkable gem of a little city and a place like this is a Godsend to the budget traveller who wants to see both it and the region. The receptionists were considerate for later than expected guests ( within reason :). A pleasant stay.”

  “Very old and beautiful building. Big restaurang att the same location. Room was small but nice. We arrived late at the evening so there was no staff on duty but everything worked excellent. Good parking for motorcycles and very good breakfast!”
