“This place on Sumba is truly unlike anywhere else I have ever been. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat on a remote island with incredibly kind locals, this is the perfect spot. Secluded does not mean lacking in service—the host made sure everything was well provided. Delicious breakfasts are served by the friendly staff, and you can also order lunches and dinners to your villa, all of which are of excellent quality. The island itself has surprisingly good roads, so you can rent a practically new scooter on-site and enjoy exploring the entire island while taking in stunning views. The host is exceptionally warm and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. And if you still need to work while away, each villa is equipped with reliable Wi-Fi. A hidden gem on a hidden island—I can’t recommend it enough.”

“A real paradise on Sumba! Crystal clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent service. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, especially at sunset. This hotel was amazing for us. The design is in local style, very natural and beautiful, so we felt the real spirit of Sumba. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was always tasty. The staff were kind and smiling all the time. Around the hotel there are wonderful trips. To small villages, to the beach, and into the nature. The sunset view in the evening was something we will never forget.”
