“Our stay at Aroha Taveuni was a special experience. Catherine and Rod were excellent hosts, always willing to answer questions and give us advice about what to do and where to go. The staff were wonderful -- friendly and welcoming -- and the meals were superb, cooked by the very talented chef Chris. The bures too were very well designed, comfortable and spacious with easy access to the beach and an incredible view over the Somosomo Strait -- the sunsets! We did a number of excursions from Aroha -- birdwatching, a visit to Bobbi's farm, the Lavena coastal walk, and snorkelling on the Rainbow reef -- which were all exceptional. Taveuni is truly the garden island of Fiji.”

“Stunning boutique hotel with direct access to a private beach within a few strokes from the reef. The staff are amazing and very caring. Great food with daily fresh fish and homegrown fruits and veggies. A must for travellers looking for a beautiful and quiet ecolodge with a limited number of guests and guaranteed privacy. The best place to stay in Taveuni, looking forward to going back.”

“Storm, Raymond, Milli, Eric and all of the other staff were brilliant from start to finish. The setting of the resort was stunning with great views and an immaculate garden. The food was consistently good/varied and the Fiji night buffet/performance from the local kids was a great idea. The activities offered were all worthwhile and mostly value for money. Our room was a great size and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Location was beautiful with bures directly above the sandy beach. Great swimming and snorkeling directly in front of resort and surf break only 2km out in front. Manager & staff were amazing - super friendly, great service and really helpful. The food was very good and meals with Spanish Mackerel were exceptional. Private, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do. The full day around island snorkeling tour with picnic and smoked fish on the beach was a highlight. Incredible coral and fish on the 5 snorkeling sites we were taken to.”

The restaurant is outstanding and offers a great breakfast, super lunch and amazing dinner, with stunning ocean views. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
