I couldn’t find the bicycle I wanted on the second evening, but it wasn’t really a problem. The town is not too big, and as someone who enjoys walking, it didn’t slow down my travel at all. I also understand it’s not the travel season, so that’s totally fine.
During my stay, I didn’t really see the hotel staff around, but it wasn’t an issue for me. I had no urgent needs, and since I also have a language barrier, it wasn’t a problem.
