“The location is excellent. Perched up on a a hill side, the pool site offers an amazing view over the Old Colle Val D'Elsa Town are and Tuscany hills in the distance. The rooms, including the bathroom are spacious, bedsheets very clean, beds comfortable. Staff is very friendly and open to Though offering almost the same options every day, the breakfast is varied enough. Very nice pool area, an excellent relaxation spot after a day of exploring Tuscany towns. A plus for the free parking nearby the hotel. Pets are accepted at the hotel.”
“The location is fantastic and the views to San Gimignano are incredible. The swimming pool is really lovely, and the staff couldn’t have been any better! The lady who checked us in in particular was amazing.”
“Wow, what can I say—my wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely incredible! The facilities were fantastic, the views breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were kindly upgraded to the Wellness Suite in celebration of our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
The property itself feels like a true Tuscan dream—easy to reach by car, with plenty of parking, and surrounded by stunning scenery. Waking up to those views each morning felt surreal.
The location was also perfect: close to Florence and other beautiful cities, making day trips simple and enjoyable. The staff were always ready to help with recommendations and directions, which made exploring even easier.
I couldn’t recommend this place more—it’s the perfect Tuscan escape!”
“Everything about the hotel was serene and carefully presented. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the layout of the old house sympathetically transformed into an hotel. The entrance hall was spacious, the stairs went through the first floor breakfast room where the attention to detail of the food offered the best I've seen, six different bowls of seeds with beautifully written labels, croissants made from different flours, unusual milk and coffee jugs, choices of meats, fruit salad, omelette and more and quite unusual music playing. My bedroom contained vintage furniture, a comfortable bed, modern shower room.
BEAUTIFUL.
There is a lift.
The hotel is on the main old street a few minutes walk from the main bus stop outside the town wall.”
“Located along the picturesque Via Francigena, this historic residence instantly transports you back in time. The stone walls and timeless architecture create a truly unique atmosphere, where history and tranquility embrace you at every step. Spending a night here felt like living in a fairy tale – the room was charming, cozy, and full of character, while the surroundings radiated peace and authenticity.
Dinner was a true celebration of Tuscan flavors – each dish was prepared with perfection and presented with such care that it turned the evening into a memorable experience.
What makes this place truly special is not only its beauty and history but also the genuine hospitality that reflects the spirit of the past. Our stay here was magical and unforgettable, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the essence of Tuscany in a truly historic setting.”
