  • Le Dahu Review score: 7

“Nice and simple hotel in argentier. We stayed as part of the TMB. All we needed was a nice bed and a shower and that's what it was. The young lady who assisted us in the from desk was very helpful and nice”

  • “Very cozy chalet in a silent place near forest. Its located just near the TER train station, bus stop and starting point for awesome Lac Blanc trail and several others. Absolutely worth its price. If you come to Chamonix for mountaineering or hiking , that's a great place to stay. Most rooms have stunning views on Aiuguille du Midi.”

  • “I like this hotel very much so it is a shame that there are a few aspects of it that I find disappointing (see below). It sits on its own in Les Tines, an hour or so’s walk from the centre of Chamonix, but it is very conveniently placed both for the local bus service and the local train station. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed without being luxurious. There is a pleasant bar (with very friendly bar staff) and good spa; and in the summer the large outdoor swimming pool is a real asset. In the winter the ski room is well fitted out and spacious, with individual locked cabinets with plenty of space for skis, poles and boots; and there is a ski concession on the hotel premises available for ski and boot hire, Breakfast is adequate without being outstanding. Most of the staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The overall four-star rating is perhaps slightly flattering but the hotel is not alone in this respect.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Very good restaurant. Comfortable bed. Good quality refurbished ensuite. Very handy car park. Being about 1km from the centre of Les Houches it was an easy walk to the start of the Tour du Mont Blanc. Regular buses to Chamonix from right outside the hotel. Room was a decent size.”
