  “The hotel was fabulous, new - spotlessly clean, wonderful staff, the manager Benjamin went out of his way to make us feel welcome & to show us the hotel’s amenities. We arrived in the morning & parked at the hotel - we then descended down to the bottom of the Col de Cayolle & biked up this beautiful route to the top. We were delighted with our spacious room & enjoyed the beautiful lounge area next to the restaurant to relax with a glass of wine before supper. The food was great. We are already planning to return in the winter to explore some ski touring & snow shoe hiking from the hotel & will for sure stay longer on our next visit. We have stayed at several hotels in this area, Refuge Hotel de Bayasse is far & away the nicest.”

  “I arrived later than expected to a warm welcome and a delicious evening meal. My room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The property is located on the Route des Grandes Alpes and makes a perfect stopover. The hosts are wonderful and create a lovely atmosphere. I count myself lucky to have found a room here and will definitely return in the future – recommended.”
