    “Guadalupe welcomed us warmly upon arrival - after communicating regularly ahead of time. She gave us cold drinks and fruit to combat the heat. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning, which we really needed. She provided a lot of local information, which was really helpful. Her son, Luis, also helped us out. The view from the patio was absolutely amazing. Guadalupe let us put our water in her fridge to keep it cold. We sat with her a couple of times and chatted about her life experience, her previous guests, and her thoughts about the town. It was a great chance for me to practice my Spanish!”
