We had an apartment on the 2nd floor, which took in all of the cooking smells from the kitchen below. Water in the shower was very oily and did not feel clean. Breakfast was not worth the price we paid.

Romania32 Reviews8 helpful votesGoodRooms are a little dated. We've been there on 1st December (National Day) and the restaurant was closed. We wanted to eat dinner but they only had the all inclusive all day offer which was pricy. Imagine coming in the evening and not being able to eat diner.
Location, some of the best places to stay when visiting Sibiu.

A location with great poten”Inflexibility of the administrator in regards with the breakfast and payment Not a very clean location. The garden should be more clean. The playground for kids is overated, old, not safe. The fridge in the rooms and apartments is too small not even a bottle of water can be kept there. Lot of noise from the floor that is wood and when people walk you hear anything. We need much more diversity at breakfast. Local products not only supermarket stuff.

The reception and the restaurant smelled bad, probably due to a lack of proper ventilationS Rooms overheated by the summer sun, with no A/C, only mobile fans but not all the rooms were equipped with these. In our room one had to flush several times the toilet to modest effect. During our 2-night stay, in 3-4 occasions a horribly foul smell invaded the room although we couldn’t locate the source (very probably due to clogged pipes). In the morning we found a corner of the bathroom flooded with water dripping from the ceiling. The bed linen had several black and red stains (blood? Crushed insects ? - plenty of them could enter the room from the nearby orchard) suggesting either that it hadn’t been changed or washed thoroughly. Spiderwebs filled every corner of the ground floor landing and the staircase. A thick layer of dust covered the surfaces. Breakfast was offered to us for an additional fee of 40 RON/person (7-8€) which we didn’t accept. At a lower price, the guest house could be recommended in its current state to backpackers, after downgrading from 4 to 2 stars.

Everything he cooked was absolutely beautiful and tasty. Very talented! The stuff was knowledgeable and friendly, location amazing. We travelled with 2 little kids and had an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 beds. Kids enjoyed the outdoor playground, mini golf, fish pond, apple orchard. Excellent!
