Access to the wellness area is not included in the room rate – it costs an extra 80 RON. Unfortunately, during the afternoon there was swimming instruction, and half of the pool was closed off, which made the experience feel a bit limited. Next time we travel in summer, we’ll probably choose the neighboring bath instead, which offers more pools both indoors and outdoors. One small but noticeable point: the hotel’s design beautifully reflects the history and spirit of Oradea, especially the influence of the Oradea Fortress. However, we noticed that some newly added wall decorations – AI-generated images of women with a vaguely Art Nouveau (Mucha-like) style – didn’t really match the elegant tone of the rest of the hotel. It’s not the use of AI itself that bothered us, but the aesthetic didn’t feel refined. It might have been more fitting to use AI to create visuals inspired by the city’s gorgeous architecture instead – but of course, this is a matter of taste.

We stayed one night at the Hilton in Oradea and were thoroughly impressed. Everything was exactly as one would expect from a Hilton: seamless, polished, and of consistently high quality. You can clearly feel the professionalism and experience of a well-established hotel chain. Everything works perfectly – from the cleanliness of the rooms to the attentiveness of the staff. The service is smooth and effortless, reflecting years of hospitality excellence. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, offering a stunning view of the river. The location is ideal: close to the city center yet peaceful and scenic. Breakfast was generous, varied, and professionally prepared – a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality stay in Oradea.

In one of the 2 communicating rooms that we had, the shower worked only on hot water. It was not a problem because we had 2 bathrooms. Maybe if you see this review you will fix, because we forgot to mention it to the receptionist.

We stayed at DoubleTree Oradea a long long time ago. And we visited again this summer. They still offer the cookies. Even though time went by, the hotel is still in good shape. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the bathroom clean. The breakfast is excellent. So we would come back if we visit Oradea again.

Excellent location, nice view on the bank of the River Cris. The staff are very kind and attentive to all your problems. The size of the room is nice. You do not have to squeeze by your bed. In the room we had a nice armchair perfect for reading, relaxing, or dozing. I strongly recommend this hotel.
