To much noise from the bathroom

The bed linens were not completely clean upon arrival. Starting from the second day, I had a serious issue with the bathroom: the shower drain would clog within a minute of running water, causing the water to overflow inside the shower area. On the first day everything worked fine, but from the second day onwards, it was impossible to take a proper shower. I sent a video of the problem via WhatsApp, but received no reply at all — not even to acknowledge the issue or offer a solution or discount. In addition, the room was only cleaned on the first day of my stay, with no housekeeping service provided for the remaining days.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was also large and well maintained. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, close to everything. I had very little contact with the reception staff, but on the two occasions I did, they were always friendly and welcoming.

The only things that the rooms don't have are an in-room safe, mini fridge and kettle/coffee maker. Adding some/all of these would make this hotel an even better value, but these aren't deal-breakers.The breakfast options are a little limited, but fine given that this is a small hotel.

Meteor Central is a very good value tourist class hotel that has an excellent central location in Cluj. Likes: 1. Perfect Location. Central location within short walking distance to main tourist attractions, many restaurants and gelaterias, a small grocery store and multiple coffee shops. 2. Quiet. No steet noise or othet noisy guests. 3. Great staff! Friendly, laid back and always helpful. Ildi, who runs the main reception desk, was always welcoming, friendly and helpful, as was her colleague, Oana. Excellent job done by both! 4. Daily Breakfast. I hghly recommend Meteor Central and will rebook here for any future trips to Cluj!

Breakfast was very basic, Eggs bread jams serial cheese slices ham and coffee Also they added some packed stuff which was good to consume but my expectations were some OG Romanian stuff. But food was ok to eat but you’ll get bore after couple of days.

Great central location and the room was spotless clean! Mine was on the top floor and ot was really cosy. I could check in late (1am) and leave my luggage past check out time. Good breakfast in the morning, great coffee, lovely staff!

Great for a few days to stay. Walking distance to all sightseeings. Bathroom needs to be updated, rooms were ok. Excellent breakfast.

Not something I did not like, more something that I did not know was that there is no elevator in the building and I had to carry the troller to the second floor and back.

The corridor had a strong smell thanks too cigarettes and air freshener. There was a lot of plastic waste after every breakfast. The location is very good, but the view from the windows are not so great.

The hotel is at a very central and good place. The bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was also good.

We were NOT told that it had no parking ! Perking was 10 min walking away ! I need back surgery, can’t walk without great pain and the young receptionist had a very unprofessional attitude about !!!😡 No empathy, no nice attitude NOTHING human, like a robot ! “ Not our problem “ attitude 😡

Old school door lock with key. The furniture in the room, except the bed, was old fashioned. TV channels not working properly. A small safe could have been useful.

Room small, but ok. One thing we missed was fresh bread rolls for breakfast, but that was made up by a toaster.

Great location, good, practical room with a fantastic shower. Really helpful staff and a nice breakfast, which we could take earlier the morning we left. The location is as good as it gets, with a 20-30 minute walk to the main station.
