    Room too hot!

Room was absolutely roasting. Had specifically looked for room with air conditioning as I knew Bucharest would be hot, however the AC in the room was a small box in the corner that produced no cool air. There was a sign in room saying that temp was kept at a certain temp due to some recommendation - however, room was far too hot and extremely uncomfortable!

Reception staff were excellent, very friendly and keen to assist. Good location, good price.

The wifi in our room was very weak and was disconnecting every time. There was no ramp for Trolley and wheelchair at the Front door of Hotel and you have to lift them with Hand.

The locaton was good. The room was clean and the Reception was friendly.

1.There is an awful smell that comes from the sewage from the bathroom. 2.They don't have their own parking places, but if you are lucky you can find one outside in the street.

The location is good, there is a Kaufland hypermarket at 300 m faraway and also a Mega Image in the nearby, there are 2 good restaurants close to the Hotel, the breakfast is acceptable, the room was clean, their mattresses are confortable, the temperature in the room was perfect.

Our stay at Hotel Razvan was overall satisfactory, neither particularly good nor bad. We had booked two rooms, a single and a double. The double room was decent and comfortable. However, the single room had some issues: the main door had a large gap, which made it quite noisy, as we could hear everything happening in the corridor. It was also uncomfortable because insects were getting into the room easily, not only through the door but in general. Another downside was the bathroom window, which was positioned in a way that allowed people from the building opposite to see inside, causing a lack of privacy. The breakfast was disappointing, with almost no variety and mostly stale products. Also, despite the information on Booking.com stating that rooms are equipped with mini-fridges, there were no fridges in either of our rooms. On the positive side, the location was relatively close to the city center if you had a car, and there was also good access to public transportation (tram). The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, for a short and simple stay, Hotel Razvan is acceptable, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Some details shall be renewed, like the climate system (it worked perfectly, it is just old). The heater in our toilet didn’t work and in February, with -6ºC outside, this isn’t good. The Reception doesn’t have any Bucharest map - it’s not mandatory, but at least a big one in the hall would help. They don’t give you extra pillows whatsoever - only one per person. Luckily enough we were given a triple room even in in two people travelling, so we ‘gained’ a third pillow.

The hotel went beyond our expectations: you wouldn’t give it anything from the exterior, however it is quite delightful once inside. Buffet savoury breakfast was astonishing and full of local dishes; the room was nice and even with a balcony. In the morning a pleasant incense smell runs across the floors as the ladies clean and this isna curious detail. The reception is always open, the staff is nice and they (almost) all speak at least English. Regarding the position, you have a tram stop right in front of the hotel with also a big supermarket there for any need. The breakfast room is on the sixth floor with a nice terrace: it was snowing, of course we didn’t use it, but it should be cool 🆒

Very clean place, breakfast and the hostess are lovely, the reception staff are not nice and not helpful, and there is no hot water to make coffee or tea in the room, and they don't want to give it either.

I only wish that the hotel had a kettle for making hot water in the room, or had some tea/coffee facilities in the lobby. After breakfast the upstairs dining space was closed off and there was no access to hot water for tea or coffee. On the frosty days during my stay in January I wish I could had a cup of hot tea whenever - not just during breakfast.

Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. The breakfast was buffet style and had a lot to choose from- all delicious and fresh.
