Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt;s a decent hotel, but the fixtures and fittings are deteriorating a little. A menu isn't offered for breakfast, but you do have some choice, even if you pick and pay for the inclusive breakfast, If you don't, you get the same thing each day. Strange that breakfast starts from 8 o'clock, rather than a little earlier. You won't find a kettle in your room, but you can request one. Make sure you also ask for cups. The TV channel guide is completely out of date, but there are still plenty of channels to choose from. Whilst we were there, customs allowed trucks to travel over the border all night, which you can hear if you have a room at the front of the hotel. Try to get a room at the back.
There are no hotels in the town of Siret. This hotel is about 5 kms. from the centre of the town, on the Romanian/Ukranian border. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and breakfast isn't bad. We got a decent nights sleep. Air-conditioning was good. You had complete control of it. When it was turned off, it stayed off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

UkraineHost didn't talk English though hotel is just near border and many foreigners are coming there. Room is little small but expensive. Rest all was good
I liked that the receptionist was available 24/7, we came after midnight and we were met and accommodated. Also the lift in the property and cafe was additionally comfortable. Free parking is just near the hotel.

Romania- To my test: the mattress was too soft - I had some doubts about how clean the bedding was. Maybe just an impression. - 75 Euro per night is too high for the location and the consumers of this transit hotel. - Breakfast should be served starting with 07 and not after 08.
As I was in my way to Ukraine, the location was perfect 👌 Good size room Clean and new bathroom

United StatesManagement could do better job selecting and training staff. We used this hotel twice with less than friendly staff. Heater is not adequate for room size and difficult to keep warm in winter.
Closest location to border.

ItalyHard to reach because of the endless truck queues at the Ukrainian border. Their pricing reflects the fact that they don’t really have competition in the surroundings.
Probably among the few “international” hotels in the area. Good room size and nice restaurant.

NetherlandsBeds are small (narrow) and not really comfortable..
A quirky hotel almost straddling the Ukrainian Romanian border - sometimes tricky to enter the hotel area because of the trucks waiting for the border crossing - but because of that location good as starting point for a trip across the border. Nice and big rooms, great dinner opportunities but disappointing breakfast options.

United KingdomNo tea / coffee facilities. Breakfast is not included in the room price.
We’ve used this hotel a few times now mainly for a location being right at the border ( that is great I must say). However the room in all honesty shouldn’t cost more than £40-£45 only because it has no tea / coffee facilities or even bottled water and breakfast isn’t included in the price. To what we have always paid think it is very high compare to the service. And the staff hope one day that can smile or just be more pleasant to you as a customer

United KingdomI booked twin room with balcony but I was given twin room without balcony because they have given the one with the balcony to someone else. In all fearless I was offered double room with the balcony but it was not suitable for my needs. Reception staff was polite and helpful. The restourant manager was very rude and unhelpful. Sorry some reason didn't like when I asked to see the menu and just barked at me: Sit, Sit!!! Didn't like the attitude of the restaurant manager at all.Very disappointed by the attitude but the food was really good!
The hotel is very close to the border. The room was in the back of the hotel and it was quiet but it was not the room I booked.

UkraineI chose this hotel based on numerous good reviews. I booked a room for 1 adult and 2 children aged 11 and 15 years. Requested an extra bed for a child. The website stated - 7 - 14 years Extra bed upon request 50 lei per child, per night As a result, they charged me 100 lei for an extra bed and spoke impolitely. There was very hot at the room, the air conditioner did not work to cool. It is impossible to sleep with the windows open, as there is a road and a lot of trucks nearby, which means it is very noisy. Also the room had a smell of smoke....
Clean bedsheets and nothing more
