The room was bit too small, if you are travelling light it shouldn't be a problem I guess. I was with just a carry on luggagge and it barely fit into the room.

The facilities were very nice and the breakfast too. The location was superb! in the center of the city, walking distance to many city higlights

No complement water. There was no coffee in the room — it will be great to provide at least a stick of coffee. Bath robes — nice to have for a better experience.

The perfect hotel to stay for family vacations as you have everything nearby and all the comforts you need! We asked for an extra bed for our 2,5 years old kid and they gave as a two-room apartment that was super comfortable. Everything clean and breakfast amazing!

During our trip to Belgrade, we stayed at Hotel Balkan. We’re so glad we chose this hotel. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was very central. Steps and stairs everywhere. Awkward doorways. Service in the restaurant/cafe was hopeless. I had to go to the bar/counter and call out.

It would have been nice to have some fresh, sliced fruit as pineapple, kiwi, watermelon and grapefruit for the breakfast. And I wish the breakfast staff could relax their shoulders, enjoy their job and maybe sometime smile to us guests : B.E. P.R.O.U.D. I sleep very deeply but was woken up by some doors slamming 5-10 times and a men‘s voice from the room next door 02.40 in the middle of the night. A loud and long conversation. I slept very bad that night, and no more than 5-6 hours, trying to heal from a cold/flu and fever.

This hotel is so classic and beautiful - You can tell that the team who designed it, have an eye for colours and details F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C The beds are so comfortable and the mini sofa looks so chic : )) The rooms are clean and tidy and the interior well maintained. 🌷Thank You so very much

I decided to try a different hotel after 2 nights at another hotel (at that time, my “favourite hotel”). I checked in on a Saturday. The receptionist was not too alert, telling me that the breakfast was between 07.00 - 10.00. Due to some headaches/irritation in the throat I woke up late, 10.35 and was disappointed since I just missed the breakfast… Since I really liked the hotel and slept very good in their beds, I booked a couple of more nights and found out that the breakfast time was 07.00 - 11.00 during the weekend - that was really a surprise (!). Unfortunately the doors make very loud noises all the time, when guests (and cleaning staff) open and closes their hotel room door. It is possible to close the doors softly without making a sound, which I did. Don’t be surprised if You hear a conversation from the hallway (cleaning staff or guests) or from the room next to Yours (some isolation would be great).

I was very surprised to experience this beautiful, well designed hotel which gives that luxury vibe, both in colours, the interior & the furniture chosen ! You are in the middle of the city center so it will take You 1-2 minutes to reach the pedestrian street “Knez Mihailova”. The beds are so comfortable and You will definitely have a good night sleep : ) This elegant hotel is clean with spacious rooms and high ceiling, a true bargain !! The hotel also run an elegant restaurant, where You will have the breakfast. I can warmly recommend this fantastic hotel to anyone, single or family, to visit and enjoy…

Really small window. And single rooms may be different. At the first stay it was a comfortable and spacious room, but at the second stay it was really tiny room - it was difficult ti locate a luggage.

The staff was friendly, the reception was nice. We communicate through email and telephone and in both cases they were polite and solved my issues really fast.

We loved the ambiance, quality of sleep and privacy that the apartments provided! The stay at Hotel Balkan was fantastic from check-in to check-out! Hotel Balkan is steps away from from Knez Mihajlova and about 15 min walk to Karadjoedjeva fortress!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. We were so satisfied with everything that we’re already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Belgrade — without a doubt! On our first day, we had a personal issue (completely unrelated to the hotel), but the General Manager was incredibly supportive and went out of her way to assist us. Thanks to her and the amazing team, we were able to continue our holiday in comfort and peace of mind. We truly appreciate their care and hospitality. Highly recommended!
