How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewI loved the location if you are wanting to stay in Zemun. Very accommodating for traveling with a baby. The room is very nice.
The staff is not available 24/7.

Verified review1) Clean, new, nice design, comfortable 2) A lot of shops and restaurants in a walking distance (5 minutes to the main square), some after midnight 3) Nice yard for morning breakfast 4) Rooms are really soundproof, there is a church nearby and you barely hear it.
1. Difficult car access: After 5pm, when no staff are on site, it’s very hard to reach the entrance by car. The narrow old-town street is packed with parked cars, making turning to the doors almost impossible without scratching the car. 2. Arrival issues: We arrived at 5:30pm with no staff present. We had to block the road to park, then figure out the gate using the reception key. Although the key opened the parking door, a manual barrier blocked access, making unloading luggage extremely inconvenient. None of this was mentioned in the booking. The electronic sensor lock did not respond to touch, and it took me 10 minutes to finally get inside. This is because the staff (who were absent) is locking the room keys inside the rooms, likely for “safety reasons.” 3. Food is not available on site after 5pm: The minibar was empty, there was no tea or coffee in the room, and the hotel restaurant was completely unattended by any personal, despite advertised opening hours until 11pm (at least on Sundays, this was not true). The other night (Monday) hotel had an event (meeting) and the restaurant was fully blocked by one group of people. Staff was present, serving the dinner for them, but there was no space inside for other guests. So these all made experience quite uncomfortable, even though the hotel itself is very nice.

Verified reviewThe rooms and the lobby & breakfast area were nicely decorated
There was a very noisy private group occupying all the common areas including the breakfast table, the outdoor tables etc. Because of them we were stuck in our room and could not use any common areas of the hotel. Moreover the room was much smaller than advertised and the group was quite noisy till late at night. So it was not possible to have a nice time in the hotel

Verified reviewWonderful new hotel in heart of old town Zemun. Perfect location, very easy to discover and explore neighbourhood on foot. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around, as well as river quay where you can enjoy romantic evening/morning stroll. Hotel is very comfortable with great bed and shower. There is a free parking as well.

Verified reviewThe location is excellent in Zemun, very close to the Danube riverside promenade, in a lively tourist area full of terraces and restaurants. The hotel itself is charming, set in a building with a lovely inner courtyard full of greenery, where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine with friends in the evening. Everything felt very intimate and welcoming. The rooms were very clean, equipped with all that you need; the breakfast was varied and served in a cozy place. We felt very comfortable and had a great time, highly recommended!
all was great

Verified reviewNothing.
It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We arrived at the hotel and there was no staff at all. No one to help us with our luggage or even to check in. We waited an hour to solve this. We paid around 75 euros for the hotel for a night, and 25 euros a day for parking our car. There's no safe place to park outside. Breakfast was terrible; the milk was spoiled, and we were poisoned, my wife found hair in food. It was truly dirty and inadequate. I recommend you to take my warnings into consideration and to skip this hotel.

Verified reviewHighly recommend this hotel! It’s beautifully maintained, the décor is modern and inviting, and everything felt so clean and fresh. Check-in was smooth, and the location made it easy to get around without hassle."
The breakfast options were limited, in particular lacking some vegetables. Otherwise, it wasn't bad at all.

Verified reviewLocation was good. A lot of restaurants were walking distance.
The breakfast was a disappointment, especially after reading the Reviews. We were waiting for more, the cup were dirty (5 out of 8 cups), the coffee machine didn’t have milk, the bread was extremely dry and so were the cooked eggs (in round shape). We couldn’t eat anything. The cleaning wasn’t also the best. We could still see handprints on the bedroom door, the cleaning in the bathroom was ok at best. We had a kitchen in our room, but couldn’t even use if we wanted to, there were neither silverware nor cooking utensils. We couldn’t even make a cup of tea, as there was not even one tea bag at the water cooker. The water cooker was completely white from all the calc, it also showed that nobody cleaned it. Overall very disappoint. Beautiful Hotel but needs a lot of improvement.

Verified reviewI asked for king size bed and got two side by side bed
The room was clean and spacious. Some common things that should be standard for a 4 star hotel are missing. The TV is Android (which is ok) but without access to local TV, the fridge is switched off and empty, we ordered dinner from outside the hotel, there are no cutlery in the room... small details that spoil the quality. When reserving the room through Booking, I emphasized that the payment is on the spot, this was not observed, they took the money from the account themselves. Otherwise, very nice location and pleasant staff. Because of such things, they reduce a good impression.
