At check-in, and in several clearly visible places in the room (on the toilet itself, on a laminated wall notice, in the guest folder, and in the price list), it was explained that nothing should be thrown into the toilet because of our sensitive sewage system. Unfortunately, this rule was not respected, which caused a flood in the bathroom. As we were fully booked due to the trumpet festival, we could not immediately move you to another room. However, we provided you with a temporary solution and access to all our services until the next day, when we moved you to a larger room category with no extra charge. Although by our rules we were entitled to charge you for the damage, we decided not to, in order to avoid further inconvenience. Throughout your three-day stay, we did our best to ensure your comfort and to resolve the issue quickly and fairly. We kindly ask you to take this into account when reflecting on your experience, as our team went beyond our obligations to support you, despite the difficult circumstances.
