The only small downside was that the kitchen could have been better equipped, but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t take away from the overall stay.

The location was absolutely perfect – close to everything, making it easy to get around. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a real “home away from home” feeling. The pool was a godsend, and we loved having it to relax after long days. The hosts were truly amazing, welcoming us like family and making the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend and would happily return!

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal! It felt like a huge reset from the whole world. All we wanted was to sit and admire the mountains in this stunning and thoughtfully designed interior. Everything was perfect. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and gave us great tips on what to see in the area. The house is unbelievably cozy.

Terrific scenery and view. Well-appointed, spacious apartment, the pool is a great asset. Kind and competent host, He told us to foget about Google maps for the mountain roads, he let me take s snapshot of a hand-drawn map instead. He was perfectly right, we drove on perfect mountain roads Google maps was not aware of. The nearby Küstendorf skanzen village has a good restaurant. Serbia as a whole is a very hospitable and underrated country.

The Neva Apartments are simply fantastic in terms of location, equipment and design. We were there over a weekend and booked the entire house with a magnificent view. The owners are really nice and courteous and the communication worked perfectly. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated and has a fully functional kitchen. I advise anyone arriving to go shopping as no breakfast is served. The center of Mokra Gora, a few kilometers away, also has a pharmacy and small shops. The main attraction is of course Emir Kusturica's Kustendorf which is 100 m away with a cool cafe, cinema, restaurant and much more. A parking lot is available and is located a few meters above the complex. Admission for Kustendorf is free after 6 p.m. You can also visit the old railway tracks of Jatare and Mokra Gora, the Church of St. John the Baptist in Bele Vode or take a relaxing hike. In addition Višegrad is nearby and you can visit e.g. Andrićgrad or the Dobrun Monastery. All in all an absolutely successful weekend. We'll come back.

Lovely property, very clean and well looked after with great views. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful especially with ideas for things to do in the local area etc. The pool was a big bonus, not very big, but still big enough for kids to have fun in.

Now for the cons: the air-conditioning units are only in the livingroom and dining room. All the bathrooms are upstairs and none have air-conditioning which makes for a very hot July nights. We did not sleep well at all during our stay as it got very hot in the rooms. Also, the bathroom vents were extremely loud. WiFi was weak which made it difficult for me to check emails. Overall: would definitely recommend this place and would return (but hopefully with A/C units installed in bedrooms) 😉

I recently stayed here with my twins and mom. While I would love to rate this place with 5 starts, this is why it is missing one. But let me first start with pros: The place is gorgeous! Beautiful landscape, perfect mountain location, and only 50 meters away from Drvengrad (Kusturica's Village), where we enjoyed dinners at the local restaurant. We rented a whole log cabin with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. It was very clean and tastefully furnished with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The check-in process was seamless. The host greeted us at the arrival. At first, he may seem like a rude, grumpy man, but that is just a Balkan mentality (he is originally from Bosnia). Once you get to know him better, he is actually a very nice man with rich life stories. He really did try to go an extra mile to accommodate everyone. His jokes may be a bit too dry for some, but I found them amusing 😄
