How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

My only issue was having only a microwave to cook with. That's my only complaint. Everything else was awesome!
Very comfortable. Clean. Zoran was very nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend.

There is no hot plate, but that was not a problem for me. They have microwavable bowls to make soup.
Zoren is a fabulous host and very responsive and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable, the room is spacious and had air conditioning for a very comfortable sleep. This is definitely one of the cleaner hostels I've been in - it's immaculate bathroom and shower are also very nice. Kitchen had everything I needed (I don't cook) with microwave and free coffee - total bonus.

Maybe to have clear instructions of a number to text if a staff member isn't present at the property to check in
Great location near lots of shops and restaurants about 15 minutes from the centre. Zoran was a great help especially as I was checking in after 9pm. Bathroom facilities were very clean. Great value for money

Just one thing. As a backpacker, I would have really appreciated having a pair of sleepers during my stay.

The hostel is close to the city center. There are stores and all you need within walking distance. In addition, the hostel is clean and the wifi works quite well. Props to Aleks, the manager. He is a cool guy and is always willing to help with all you might need.

- it's very clean - towels provided - I stayed in the 4 bed dorm. It has 2 normal beds. I was able to stay in one - the door is open 24/7 so you can just drop your stuff. Then text the owner when you're ready for check-in

Payment should be cash(it is a rule of the country)
The location was excellent and very clean. The only issue I had was my roommate's snoring, which I believe was just bad luck on my part. I strongly recommend it.

Checkin was just a little unclear and just be a tab more comfortable if it wasn’t so easy to walk in but really posed no concerns for my stay. I would stay again!
Was just a quick 1 night stay between buses for me but enjoyed a quiet night and a clean room and showers. Host was awesome and even reached out after my stay about something I may have forgotten in the room which was nice 😊

There was nothing i didn't like.
Clean, in the new building, rooms and the bathroom have new furniture, nice sheets, a nice kitchen, with free coffe, the host was so welcoming and friendly. The hostel is in a nice neighborhood, not far from the city center.

Host was very welcoming, responded quickly whenever I tried to contact, the place was clean and comfortable, they provided clean towels, loved having heater in the room, which I could adjust to my preference.

A great and well maintained place, all facilities available, host is very kind, supermarket and lovely restaurants are nearby. A bit walk to downtown (10-15 minutes) but I like that as it helped exploring city.

Location, Wi-Fi, Cleanliness, Location, and the owner kindness. I just booked 2 nights, but in the end, I was one week. While my trip to the Fruška Gora, I could leave my backpack here. There are a lot of bakeries and restaurants around. The only thing I dislike is that it isn't possible to cook. You have a ketler, microwave, and fridge.

The kitchen facilities were poor. We stuck with knifes and cut boards

The owner is a nice, positive and kind person, so be respectful, he takes care of the hostel himself. I really enjoyed my stay, it was comfy, great location, it's a steal for this price. Enjoy your stay!

This was the best hostel I've ever lived in, the boss was really kind and warm-hearted, and my Russian roommate was high quality and very humorous. I felt I was as same as at home, I think that's the charm of the city of Нови Сад.

Passenger hostel is really all that you need while exploring Novi Sad. My room had one big bed, it was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Pillows are extremely good! The room has a heating body (a stone-like radiator) that you can adjust according to your heat preference. It's a simple room, yet it is quite enough for one or two persons. Although the hostel is not in a small street, the neighborhood is quiet. The bathroom was exceptionally clean (and there is another bathroom on the floor above). Kitchen is filled with coffee, tea, and other necessities, and it is all for free. The host is exceptionally responsive and nice, he will welcome you and explain you everything in details. I checked in very late (it was almost 10pm), and I did not have any problems. The wi-fi is excellent, I had a couple of online meetings without a single problem. The overall feeling is like you've been a dear guest in someone's house, yet with all the privacy you need.
