How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I rated the apartment 9 instead of 10 because of the neighborhood. During the day it’s okay but after sunset I wouldn’t feel too safe here as a single woman or a young adult. We were 2 couples so it was fine.
Perfect apartment, everything was new and clean. Even the coffee machine and capsules were thought of. So satisfied with the apartment. It was 5mins walk to the old city center, cafes and restaurants, 15 min walk to the Danube river. The city is not hilly at all, so walking was pleasant. We loved Novi Sad and this apartment was a great choice for us. Our host was an amazingly nice and welcoming lady.

Excellent stay, there is everything you need in the apartment. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. The free of charge garage underground in the same building is very convenient if you are travelling by car.

The property is absolutely fantastic. Everything looks just as in pictures, if not even better. The host (Marija) was really kind and charming woman. The flat was very clean and smelled amazing. Everything you’d need was provided. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, fridge had free drinks, there was coffee and tea available for free. AC was working as needed. Beds were super comfortable. Private parking is in underground garage connected straight to the building entrance (great for summer as your car doesn’t get hot under the sun). The location is pretty close to anything you might need. We are looking forward to visit it again. 10/10

Very modern apartment near city center with all necessary equipment. We came at 10 o clock in the evening and nice lady waiting us and gave all necessary imformation.

We were met by our hostess upon arrival, which was a great assist with regard to parking and transitioning into the place. The apartment itself was comfortable and spacious - and well-located; a short walk to the center of the Novi Sad.

Amazing place, obviously decorated and managed extreme care. Apartment is equipped with all that you might need, and even more than that :)! Marija is exceptionally friendly and hospitable. We definitely know where to stay on our next visit to Novi Sad!

Free parking, finding a parking space is a great challenge in Novi Sad, especially if you don’t have a Serbian SIM card to pay the parking fee by SMS.

Apartmant is in the new building so everything is new. It has parking garage that is a bit tight, but not terrible. There is elevator from the garage. Great location 10 minutes stroll to the city center. Two nice bedrooms, equiped with everything you may need for your stay. Host was nice and helpful. Novi Sad is very beautiful and worth wisiting.

First of all, I'll have to say that the location of Room 21 is perfect. It's just 700 meters from the city center and you have free parking. Marija was a great host and she was kind and really helpful. She gaves me good tips on where to eat and how to reach Fruska Gora National Park. Very nice and very clean apartment!. A pleasant decor and vibe. Definetly we will return with pleasure in that place.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in Novi Sad. Clean, new building, not facing a busy road, elevator. Perfectly clean and has everything you may need. Comfortable beds, both rooms of decent size, and a lovely kitchen /living area. A pleasant decor and vibe. Even has a balcony!
