Expensive for what you got - we had half board option. Meals had lots of options but main courses only lukewarm. No tea or coffee with dinner unless paid extra for. Kettle only in room on request.

If you are a family with children you will love it. If you are without kids it will not be so much fun. If you don't arrive at breakfast at 8:00am, you probably won't be able to find a cup for coffee, getting pancakes is mission impossible... Kids are screaming, breaking plates.. Spa is not a relaxing place, it is more like aqua park with kids jumping into the pool, shouting and splashing everyone. I understand that it's a family friendly hotel, but they need to find a way to make sure that the all guests have pleasant stay.

The hotel is rather new and has great potential. Nevertheless, the focus seems to be on the winter season. There is no formalised way to support summer guests about the hiking trails and the natural and cultural potential of the surroundings. Outside swimming pool is there only as decoration.

Location, although quite remote, is fantastic. Some of the personel (restaurant) are very warm and helpful. Also, being locals they are quite knowledgeable about interesting hiking routes and cultural and natural places worth visiting.

It wasn't very clean. The outside pool had algae growing inside.

Food was good, variety of traditional dishes. The view was also amazing, very close to skiing centre, and to hiking paths.

The cleanliness was not on a level you expect from a facility of this type. There was a of dust in the room when we checked in. We were not provided with the remote for the roof window and it was needed since it was hot and there was no AC. There is a serious problem with the additional restaurant where you can go for lunch. The wait time was almost an hour during our stay. The water in the outside pool was so cold most of the people couldn't swim in it but had to go in an inside pool where the water was warm.

Breakfast and dinner were good, lots of different types of food. There was new type of food almost every day for dinner and the food is delicious.

You don't feel welcomed. The staff doesn't practice kindness and smiles, not a single staff member smiled during our stay, they were all cold, indifferent and serious all the time. Strange and completely in contrast with the rest of Serbia

No coffee or tea in the room and they serve bad filter coffee for breakfast, so if you want to have a good coffee in the morning you have to get dressed and have it in the lobby bar (which opens at 7.00) where it is a bit pricey. And if you get up early and like to have your coffee in the bed, that won't happen. Breakfast starts at 8.00 and ski school for kids at 9.00 so you don't have time to get ready for skiing. Also, dinner starts at 19.00 which is too late considering that you finish skiing at 16.00 (or 16.30). Looks like they are trying their best to force you to spend more money on food and drink in the lobby bar. Food is good in general, but for the price there should be a better choice of food, especially meat. Some food is prepared too early (or they use food from previous meal) so it was cold even at the start of breakfast and dinner, and it happened every day. Swimming pool and spa are small for the number of people that come with children afrer skiing. It's usually crowdy untill dinner. I talked to a couple of people who visited this hotel before, and everybody says the hotel got worse, and all the things I've mentioned were as they should be: for 30% less you got breakfast, lunch and dinner (now there's no lunch), breakfast was at 7.30 and dinner at 18.00, food choice was better, etc.. Overall impression, it's not worth the money. Hope they'll change something in the future because the impressions of all people I talked to are pretty much the same. On the other hand, there's no better choice if you want to stay on Stara Planina with children and looks like they know it.

Location is great, just next to gondola and ski slopes. If you are staying for at least 7 nights, kids aged 4-9 get free ski school, equipment and ski pass. Rooms are big and cozy.

The hotel advertises as a spa hotel, however, the indoor swimming pool is too small for a hotel of this size. Also, there are two saunas where kids barged in all the time, so I left them sooner than intended.

The hotel does not have connecting rooms, so we took two rooms next to each other for our family of four. Both rooms were the same, very spacious, comfortable and clean. The food was superb, so many choices, very tasty and fresh, and the fact that the drinks with meals was included in the package was a nice bonus. I had a full body relax massage and this was great. The masseuse was young but very knowledgeable and professional. I scheduled another massage for the next day immediately, but had to cancel that one as I was not feeling well.

The meals were a bit repetative.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy, and it was very quiet. The hotel has everything you need, proper room service, store, ATM, etc. The underground parking lot is very convenient. Its just next to gondola.
