Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Its a familly owned hotel and they really are giving so much effort to keep everything in order and their clients satisfied. They were very polite and always happy to help. The room was clean, well organised and jacuzzi was a fantastic first-time experience. My girlfriend was really loving their cappuccinos. Overall, i rate this place 10 out of 10 and if possible, will stay here again in the future.

Nice place. Very clean and very comfortable bads and pillows. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to SPA, but we will definitly get beck to check that up soon.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well furnished. The area was quiet but very close to the town’s nightlife as well. The surrounding area is just beautiful with breathtaking views of the Danube and the lake. Our host has been very kind and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Our only regret is we could not stay longer or we would have.

Villa Spa Stevic is in a perfect location for Silver Lake. The rooms are very spacious and everything you could need is provided. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend

It is close to the beach, but still nice and quiet. The garden has nice big tree's so it is in a nice shadow so the temperature is very lovely true the day.

Just two recommendations: the room lights were a little harsh, and the Internet was too slow. If they fix just those two issues, the place would be impecable!
The staff was really kind. We were surprised by the cleanliness of the room! It was really pleasing. They changed our bath towels and made our bed everyday and changed the sheets every two days. The place is really near from the beach and the facilities are excelent.

No downside.
I liked that they let us in our room even though we came earlier, and the room was clean and nice. The location of the hotel is near the pedestrian zone of the lake.

Wifi connectivity could be better and more stable. Occasional connectivity issues from the room.
Very clean accommodation, perfectly located near the lake with the best restaurants around. Very pleasant and friendly staff ready to support with any kind of requests. SPA was a fantastic surprise for us, extremely clean and nicely designed with again super helpful staff. Amazing stay overall!

Check in in was super easy. The rooms are as described on the booking web appearance. The staff is super friendly. It is not a luxury room but run by friendly people with love and the price-quality ratio is extremly good from my point of view.

This was our second time here, and there will be a third. We were here at Silver lake for a triathlon tournament, and they gave us a late check out with no additional cost, so that we can shower and change after the race. Great hosts!

This was my third time here and as always everything was great! Easy check-in, excellent location, pleasant owner. Rooms are simple, but clean and have everything we need. Very comfortable beds. Wi-fi was good enough for me to have zoom call. They have more than enough parking space for the guests. Since we were traveling in the evening we were allowed to stay in the room way past check-out time.
