Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel is good, the staff is also good, they listen to you, it is clean and proper, then if you have any problem, call them at the same time and they will attend to you. Overall, if I say it is great, the location is a little bit different, you only need 20 minutes to reach the Haram. The rest of the transport they have is also good.

Egypt1. All Mecca hotels love carpets , why it smells 2. Must be a hot no. , bus driver no. , to save lots of hassle , even WhatsApp only will give peace of mind for the waiting. 3. Those who will walk to and from HARAM . You may exhaust yourself out of a future prayer in HARAM !!!
For Mecca , you need a different mindset 1. Near Haram to AVOID walking , you will be doing umrah and need lots of your strength , and THEY CLOSE THE ENTRANCES ALWAYS , so you will walk again a lot to reach praying place , forget ground level ,as it is only for umrah , normal clothed people are upstairs MANDATORY. 2. All this means , lots of walk , add BEING LOST . Not understanding the routes , and the hill climbs on maps. 3. BEST SOLUTION IS NEVER GO FIRST TIME EXCEPT IN THE HOTEL'S BUS. 4. Try to ask the driver for his phone no. They move half hourly on a 24 hr basis , but it takes more than that real time , and waiting in the hot weather is not helping your patience, 5. Mark the drop off on GPS. 6. Look around you to understand how to move and get back. 7. Plan UMRAH away from prayers to have best experience and least congestion. Between Isha and Fajr , Between shorooq and Dhuhr. 8. When you finish Umrah you will find yourself on the other side of HARAM , PLEASE GO BACK TO SAVE LOTS OF TIME AND EXHAUSTION , And a taxi to the hotel eventually. 9. There is a barber just beside the hotel 10 meters on same side before the hotel in car mode. He is decent . 10. There is two food restaurants 120 meters before the barber, one for beans , and beside him another for lamb , chicken , etc... , more than nice and price is waaay better than those close to or right outside HARAM , 11. Plan your day in advance, food wise , prayer wise , hotel bus wise , and understand Mecca is not flat or simple minded like Medina , May this bring you a bit closer to happier experience and closer thereby to ALLAH عزوجل

PakistanThe hotel is far from Haram and the shuttle service is very tricky, you get a little late and you'll miss Prayer, or if you are going back from Haram to hotel you could miss the shuttle back and wait for 30 to 40 mins.
Great clean and comfortable stay, the staff was helpful and even when we arrived the next day they accommodated us and generated a new bill and allowed a late checkout.

Singapore1) Mainly, it is far from haram. about 30 mins walk if its not jam. with heavy human traffic after isyak, be prepared it may take longer to reach hotel. 2) the room that i stayed smelled of cigarettes every time you come. but after you on the aircon and the ventilator, there will be no more smell. however, perfectly fine if you are a smoking person. 3) carpets are abit old and dirty. but fine if you’re a solo traveler and not so fussy as I’m mostly on the bed (which is clean)
1) The reception team/housekeeping team and staffs are very helpful and friendly. The manager in-charge could also speak English well so thats a plus point. 2) Every floor there is washing machine and dryer which you could use for free. 3) if you need any assistance you can just approach the housekeeper and/or anyone and they will be happy to assist. 4) Every time you enter the lobby/room walkway/there is this sweet smell which is calming after a long day at haram haha. 5) Did not try their breakfast so cant comment on that 6) also just opposite there is a fast food restaurant and a convenient mart. the convenient mart is the cheapest amongst all! i noticed some try to spike up the price but the mart opposite rizq stays true to the local price. bought 4 milk bottles and few other things cost only 16 riyals but down the street they charge you more. ultimately, its where you’re from and how you talk to them i guess? im not sure. but pls support the one opposite rizq if you’re staying at rizq.
