I didn't like how some of the furniture was old and the rugs had stains on them I also wished that there were more options about the restaurants and a mini super market

I liked the staff and how kind they were especially Nora on the reception and I like the location I also liked the design of the villas and the privacy I also loved how the beach was close and that they have a private beach for the females

Some bath room fittings are old, leaking. Need to be replaced. We booked a chalet, microwave oven is needed. No cooking utensils for some minor cooking/warming food. Main restaurant buffet is expensive at 209 SAR per head.

Huge setup. Good beach. Separate Swimming pool is available for women. 3 Restaurants.. Good parking. Very green. Good pathways. Rooms are very good. Very good reception staff. Staff is courteous. Furniture is good and comfortable .golf carts are freely available. Good wifi. Good for family visit.

Access to the sea is characterized by gravel and rocky terrain, making it difficult to reach on foot. The beach would be significantly improved if it were entirely sandy rather than composed of gravel....

The resort offers beach access, surrounded by abundant greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere.....

Swimming pool was freezing! And no hot water in our room in the evening and morning- something had been turned off outside our room. It was a surprise that there were no other ‘normal’ guests; we had not realised that the property had been taken over by NEOM and thus the dining room was more like a staff canteen!

Lived up to the name as a resort. Big pool. Excellent food (although way too much meat and only one vegetarian main dish).

Overpriced for the quality of room. Slow service. Booking was made last minute, and took 1 hour to show up in the system. Once in the system, they sent the maid to make up the room. Room still wasn't very clean. Way overpriced for the quality of the room. What can you do, this is Neom I guess.

Nice installations, great buffet quality and selection. In warmer weather, the pool and beach would be great to use.

Small gripe - no telephone in the rooms to contact reception/services. Only option is to scan a QR code that's flashing on TV or call the reception on their mobile number. Direct call line from room to reception (like nearly every hotel & resort) would be the better option. For the cost of the one night stay, these basic things can create a minor setback in the experience.

Prices are very high due to the lack of offer in the area.

Cave in front of the beach is cosy and comfortable. Bed is big and bathroom and shower work all fine. They give you a fruit basket as a welcome gift. Breakfast is great, also dinner, and also the gym is very nice and spacious.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Improvements

    • Solo traveller
    • Cave with Seaview
    • Stayed 2 nights

I stayed at this property for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Firstly, I was shocked to find a lizard in my room one morning. Upon inspecting the area, I noticed the door seal was badly damaged, which likely allowed it to enter — a serious oversight in room maintenance. Cleanliness was also an issue. The floor had visible dust and strands of hair, suggesting that housekeeping standards are not up to par. Additionally, there was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom, seemingly coming from the drain — another sign that maintenance and sanitation are being overlooked. The breakfast and dinner offerings were quite limited, with few appealing options available. For a property of this category, I expected a wider variety and better quality of food. Another disappointing surprise came when I discovered the breakfast price at the hotel was significantly higher than what was listed on Booking.com. I had intentionally booked a bed-only option expecting transparent pricing and the ability to add meals onsite, but this inconsistency left a poor impression. The most disheartening part of the stay was the attitude of the restaurant staff. On three separate occasions, I was greeted with rudeness at the restaurant entrance. After confirming my room number, I was spoken to in a dismissive tone and body language that made me feel unwelcome — simply because I had not pre-booked breakfast. Rather than offering assistance or providing meal options, the staff acted as though I shouldn't be there at all, which is both unprofessional and uninviting. The hotel’s remote location added further complications. During check-in, I was informed that taxi services were available at an office next to reception. However, I soon learned that it was only a car rental service with no taxis available. I had to search for alternative transportation just to reach the airport.

Firstly I booked a sea view room but didn’t get one. Staff didn’t help in the slightest and didn’t offer a solution just a shallow apology. Next, the pool was empty and not just empty it was a building site, a dirty unsafe building site. Shower water was cold no matter how long I ran it for.

Room was comfortable but small. Not 5 star, food was good

In the midst of NEOM construction

The resort is located in the midst of massive construction for NEOM. The resort entrance is difficult to access due to construction blockades; the nearby U-turns have been blocked. The resort is on a small bay; it is not very clean with trash washing ashore and trash left by guests. The nice pool that you see in the booking.com photos was closed for repairs. The seaside Turkish restaurant was also closed for repairs. This is an older property that is fairly isolated. We came to visit Magna historic sites; the road was closed to this area because of a "security issue" (?). Other roads to wadis have also been closed due to NEOM construction. I would not stay here again because of the NEOM construction; there are nicer places on the Red Sea. This resort was very expensive for the little it offered.

Our "cave" room was directly on the coast of a small bay on the Red Sea.
