An idyllic location - one of the most beautiful and tranquil bays on Mahe. Paradise! The room was comfortable and the owner and (nearly all!) staff were so kind and friendly. Highly recommended!

The hotel worker checking me out didn’t want to accept my card (used for booking) and totally refused to take card payments for food and drinks. She finally agreed to accept card for my accommodation but kept stopping me from entering my PIN number and this caused some issues with my bank. As a solo traveller, I don’t travel with lots of cash so this was a nasty surprise. Make sure to bring tens of thousands of rupees so this doesn’t happen to you.

    Location

The baked things at breakfast were not fresh. They could add kitchen utensils like plates and knives and maybe a microwave in the self-catering rooms.

The location is good relative to the beach. But there is no store nearby.

The breakfast is terrible, constantly on the heat, the fruits are warm, the rest of the dishes are inedible.

Amazing location by one of the best beaches on Mahé! Wonderful staff, great food and nice rooms with sea view. You get a «small personalized hotel» feeling.

Our room was right on the beach.

The food became a bit monotonous by the end of the vacation, but everything was very delicious and there was plenty of it.

Beautiful location on a lovely little, picturesque beach with some fairly good snorkelling. I arrived early at the resort due to my flight and the staff kindly checked me in and upgraded my room. Room was great…super clean and spacious. Fridge, hairdryer etc provided. A nice quiet atmosphere and a great place to relax.Breakfast was decent ..fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, decent coffee etc. Possibly breakfast could be varied a bit more, particularly for guests who stay longer as it tended to be the same everyday. Restaurant offered a good lunch and dinner menu. Drinks in the restaurant were expensive including drinking water. ..come prepared! A taxi from the airport to the hotel cost 60 euros (arranged by hotel). If you want to explore the island you will need a car as there is no public transport going near the hotel. If you are happy to swim, snorkel and relax then it is ideal. WiFi was ok but it wasn’t always reliable.

    Fabulous staff. Kind and welcoming.

I would suggest improving the breakfast with more variety of food.

Anse Soleil Beachcomber is situated nicely remote in a calm bay. That made it very interesting and relaxing. Having a rental was beneficial to get there and explore the rest of the area independently. The self catering rooms are spacious and well equipped. You should enjoying making breakfast by yourself. The beach is beautiful, looks like they clean it regularly and not too busy

Beautiful setting with a nice beach and great snorkeling area.

Breakfast somewhat limited and did not vary day to day. Dinner service late at 7pm for me but could have a late lunch as alternative.

The beach and view from the room is exceptional. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind this is the place to stay. The staff were absolutely lovely, the breakfast was delicious with plentiful options, the AC and WiFi worked perfectly, there are kayaks that you can use and the snorkeling is great in the bay. I will definitely stay here again.

Note: Anse Soleil is about 45 min away from the ferry and airport and 1 hour away from Victoria and Beau Vallon.
