Our friends recommended to us Pension Citadelle and we couldn't have made a better choice. We spent 5 nights of our honeymoon here and we had a great time. Talma and her granddaughter prepared us a delicious and varied breakfast every morning with fresh tropical fruits, eggs, cheese, jam... a different cake every day (in particular the coconut cheese cake was really delicious!) and a fresh fruit juice (we will never forget the delicious Guava Juice). Talma is a great host, friendly and always available. She made us find our bike right away and also served us an excellent dinner that was truly unforgettable. Thank you so much, we will recommend this place to our friends too and we hope to be able to come back!

Very clean, spacious - we had our own kitchen with all needed facilities. We room was cleaned every day and we felt like we were in a hotel. The hostesses offered advises for restaurants, different experiences on the island which was very helpful.

It had everything we needed. The location was pretty good with a bike. Even without, it was 10min from the jetty. The host was great as well, always helpful.

i like the room, it has everything that you may need, AC, fan, mirror.. We didn´t use the kitchen but if you need to use they have everything. and house owner arranged us taxi from the jetty and also bikes and she offered us a nice home made local drink which was really good!

Bicycle were in bad shape and pricy compared to other places we have been to. The taxi that we ordered was late and arrived by the really last minute. It was stressful and unnecessary.

A very clean and well-maintained place. The administration is friendly and always available to help with any questions. Daily cleaning is provided, and the rooms are equipped with all necessary amenities. Additionally, each room has its own kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare any dish I really enjoyed the hotel's location; it's slightly inland from the beach, but just a 3-minute bike ride along a smooth road. This allows you to live among the local population, observing children playing in the streets. It's very charming and offers a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. We were very pleased with this aspect. At night, it's quiet and peaceful, without any disturbances or noise I highly recommend visiting La Digue Island for at least 4-7 days. This place will forever remain in my heart; it's incredibly beautiful. The local residents are very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere here is distinctly different from Mahe. We split our vacation between these two islands, and believe me, La Digue will leave a lasting impression on you When choosing places to eat, give preference to places with local Creole staff! They have very delicious cuisine unlike establishments where the staff is Indian

Citadelle is set back from all the hustle and bustle among all the locals so you get an authentic experience of the island. We luckily stayed in the upstairs apartment so we had lovely views of the green hills from our balcony. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We were even gifted fresh fruit. The bed is comfortable, kitchen a decent size and a fair size balcony as well. It is quite close to all you need. Just a short bicycle ride to shops, restaurants and beaches. At night the streets were quite well lit so it made traveling in the evening easier.

Talma and her family are very kind and always willing to help. We also rent the bicycles from them and they always took care that the bicycles will be performed us. The kitchen is amazing 💕 the room is beautiful and the location is very convenient. Close to the supermarket and to the jetty. I hope we will visiting again amazing La Digue and if we do so we will book in Pension Citadelle again 🫶

The host is very kind and very helpful. She always has a smile and the kind word that makes you feel at home. The room up stair is good. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you can need to make your meals. Appreciate the stay here and thanks for keeping our luggage for the day so that we can visit before taking the ferry.

The only thing is that it is a bit far from the center, but most of them are too. And that in the maps.me application it is not well located. so the first time I advise you to hire a ride, since it is not very signposted, and on the way back you already value doing it yourself or not

the room is very good with a very large bed. the bathroom is also perfect although it misses something more bathroom products. Besides, you have a very complete kitchen, perfect to do whatever you want. Talma, the owner, charming and attentive. we have a problem with the bikes and she solved the problem very friendly

We needed bicycles and when the guy bought I found him very rude he didn’t even give me a chance to familiarize myself with the bicycle very impatient and just left with his bicycles. A very kind old man saw us walking in the sun and brought a bicycle with side wheels he gave a quick 5min lesson and I was good to go. We had to check out at 10am with no place communicated for us to sit while we waited for our transfer to the ferry. They said we could sit on balcony but that was just for 15mins and the cleaning lady was very rude telling us to go away from there. Only the owner was polite
