How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Need to start with Mr. Antonio, the kind person never fails to smile for anytime, how many times you call/ask never hesitate to respond positively. This place is for family who like to cook and spend time either at home or outside. Mr. Antonio will tell you about the spots with proper map. Place is clean and team is very kind.

Mosquito nets would be a great addition. In Jun, local beach was covered with sea weed and unusable.
Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In walking distance to village: supermarkets, fast foods, restaurants. Bus stop in front of facility. Small swimming pool is available. Host is hospitable, able to propose local rent-a-car and taxi services.

Excellent place! Complete Apartment with two bedrooms, full kitchen, washing machine and many other things. Very friendly welcome. Spotlessly clean. At least 2 bars and 2 restaurants and take-aways in walking distance.Antonio helped us organize rental car, that was delivered and could be dropped of at the ferry jetty. Also very helpful with infos about local sights and beaches/ access to Anse Georgette. Highly recommend to stay at ‚Stone‘ and would definitely return when in Praslin!

Great stay, lovely welcome and great apartment. Good ac in both bedrooms and an effective ceiling fan in the kitchen/sitting room. Well equipped. Smallish pool but enough for a cooling swim, or lounge on the sun beds. Has a bbq area but we didn’t use it. Short walk to shops and the beach.

Mr Antony (the host) was exceptionally nice and kind beyond comment. I will recommend the apartment over and over again. He looked after the apartment with love and passion. Always around taking care of the guests. The apartment was more than home away from home.

Noisy flat doors, which may have annoyed neighbours. Lack of tea spoons.
Location, spacious apartment with a separate bedroom, with own kitchen and terrace and washing machine for laundry, proximity to bus stop and several shops and eateries, fast network, great contact with the owner who gave us valuable advices and helped us arrange transport to and from the marina.

The owner was very supportive and at disposal. Able to arrange the entry to Anse Georgette and shared lot of interesting tips what to do around. We enjoyed the stay.

Our host was kind and helpful, providing great recommendations on where to eat and explore nearby. The apartment was spacious and had excellent air conditioning, which made our stay comfortable. We also loved spending time at the pool, and there was parking available at the site.

- kitchen could be better equiped, a few more glasses and a frying pan would be nice for ecample. - temperature of water in the shower variates a bit, some days it would not become warm, some days it did - it would be nice if the lights in the appartment were a little less bright white, maybe put a small bedroom light in bedroom for a nicer ambiance

In the kitchen there no simple ingrediens like salt or oil so need to buy it for yourself. Interior is bit tired and washbasins not drained but overall for this price it is ok for short stay.
Pool, two bathrooms, the owner Antonio is very helpful, let us stay longer until our ferry. Very good value for money.

Antonio was very helpful in accommodating my request for an early check-in and arranging a pick up from the Praslin ferry terminal. It was very easy to get to and from the apartment to most of the key attractions in Praslin using the bus (but make sure you get hold of the latest bus schedule), and it's also located a short walk away from key amenities like a money changer, takeaways, restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was very spacious and well appointed, and more than adequate for a solo traveller, and it was nice that there was a small pool to cool off in after a long day out.

Close to town and royale bech. Close to bus stop so you can visit the island. Supermarkets and take aways in walking distance. Hosts really nice provided a map and explain us where to go and what to find. Rooms are big and cleaned daily. Nice pool outside and barbaque facility.

Our host was very warm, welcoming and accommodating. He helped us arrange our car rentals and provided good recommendations on restaurants, boat tours and popular tourist spots. The facilities were clean, well equipped and very comfortable for my family. Good location also.
