Maria is a fantastic host, who is attentive to very little details in her house. The stay in her bungalow absolutely exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back to this beautiful corner of the island and spend more time at the Sunbird Bungalow hosted by such fabulous, kind and friendly people like Maria and her daughter Martina.

We had an amazing time in Sunbird bungalow. Miss Maria is so nice and helpful person. She gave us the best tips on visiting places on Mahe and about everything else we needed to know, she even help us renting a car and gave us delicious fruits from her garden everyday. She is the best guide you can possible have! The place was very clean, well decorated (and so her gorgeuos garden) and has everything you need for comfortable stay. We felt very safe and at home at her place, partly because of her playful dog Zivah too 😊 Also we liked the location of the place (west coast), we liked the fact it's not very touristic and you have a chance to feel local vibe there. We really could not ask for more, if we will come back on Mahe, we come back in Sunbird bungalow too 😊

A bit remote, so food options are a bit scarce

Very elegant, clean and quiet, and the owner is a very nice lady. Makes you feel at home. This is a great place to stay and visit the whole of Mahé (provided that you have a car). If I come again I'll gladly stay here again!

If you want to go there you should rent a car because using the busses from there needs much more time and the bus system is not easy to understand.

The apartment is very nice and Maria is very kind and helpful person who answered whatever question I had and cared immediately for every possible little problem.

Wonderful and clean, well-kept accommodation with an exceptionally well-kept garden. Owner of the house prepared a large tray of fruit for us as a welcome. Accomodation are include modern equipments. We had coffee prepared and fresh water in the fridge. During our stay, we got fresh fruits several times. The garden is beautifully maintained and you can enjoy the beautiful bushes and trees here. The house owner is very nice and friendly person. We had perfectly cleaned apartament every day and towels changed as well. Very good location of the accommodation, close to beautiful beaches, which are covered and save even on windy days. I can honestly recommend this place!

Nothing, everything was just perfect.

Beautifully decorated, cosy and extremely clean property with everything that you need. Big and comfortable bed. Air con and wifi work perfectly. The best is the lovely host, Maria, who makes you feel like at home.

The facilities, place and especially owner Maria exceeded all our expectations. She met us with fruits, provided information, and even gave us avocado from her own garden to bring with us home. Maria & her doggie will welcome you with lots of genuine warmth. Great little independent cottage next to main home of owner. Parking right at the door for easy access for your lugguages. Complimentary Hot beverages, water & juice is provided in their equipped kitchenette. Hot shower & aircon works perfectly.

Location is very comfortable to get around the island. The house has all needed for having a comfortable vacation. Maria is very heartful and open person who finds the best solution for any question being asked. Actually she made the rest of our trip so special! Fresh fruits and flowers,juice milk cream and bottles of water were waiting for our arrival. Then flowers were renewing while cleaning each day. We are so happy to meet such pleasant tendance and so pure human relation. We are gratefull for all!
