Reviews of Yasad Residence

The stay at the residence was ideal for our family. We wanted a place in a quiet part of the island without tourist traffic and Yasad offers exactly that. We must first of all mention the perfect service of all the staff. Very nice ladies, smiling and helpful. And a very professional approach of the residence manager. Nora, thank you for a wonderful 10 days.

Room very clean and made up daily. Staff kind and helpful. AC worked very well, independent for each room and easy to adjust. A very solid 9.

Some minor stuff. Microwave didnt work and they could not replace it, so we had to use the gas cooker for everything. Also the chairs for the kitchen bar were too high and eating on the bar was a bit weird.

Situated on the unpopular and windy side of the island and appears according to Booking . Com site to be on the other side of the island at Anse Possesion. It’s not!!! Cancelled immediately and no refund.Crooks

Amazing 6days stay with my wife in Yasad residence at the beginning of May. We have booked three rooms apartment in the first floor. Huge, very well equipped including nice balcony. Yasad residence is very calm and quiet place. Perfect sunset spot. Mrs Nora is very nice, friendly and helpful person. She also helped us to rent a car at very last minute and it works very well. Are you interested in some tours (Couriouse, snorkeling St.Pierre etc. ) she can help as well. We have also appreciated everyday cleaning from her friendly and smiling staff. Then Nora prepared real Creole dinner for us our last night. And it was simply amazing - huge whole very tasty fish with rice, creole chutney, lentils and sauce. I still regret that we could not eat everything (huge fish portion) :-) . I really recommend this Yasad residence. Thanks for amazing stay.

Very kind owner and personell, good location to reach every corner of the island in minutes by car, spacious rooms, beautiful tropical environment.

Big apartments in quiet part of Praslin, but close to everything. There is nice beach just across the road.

Apartments would need some refurbishment, some stuff is broken or not working.

The host was very helpful, especially with reommendation about places to visit. The beach next to the house is perfect for evening enjoy :)

The position is perfect because just on the beach in the quietest part of the island. Fantastic sunset view! Assuming you have a car, you can go all around visiting Praslin amenities. Nora, is a fantastic host: beyond all the suggestions she gave, she organised even a super premium dinner for the seven of us. On top of it, given my wife forgot some clothes when we left, she sent the bag to La Digue before we came back to Mahe. That was an AMAZING service you cannot always expect apart from perfection in hotel management!

The rooms were super clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the manager Nora, who also fed us an amazing local grillled fish meal

This property was in a good location, close to a small beach area to catch sunset, secure parking. Nora the host was really lovely and made sure we checked in ok and she had a cleaner daily. She gave us lots of recommendations and it was a great apartment for a few days stay!

The air con didn’t work as well in the living room space (but worked well in the bedroom)

Accommodation was huge and very good equipped. Housekeeping one of the best we have experienced so far. Our host, Nora, was extremely nice and helpful. Quiet location, but you definitely need a car, if you want to explore the island. Beautiful beach just across the street. Just heaven! And for very reasonable price!

It’s basically a hidden gem, if you are looking for a secluded place on Praslin (which is in our opinion the best balance compared to Mahe and La Digue). It does have an almost private beach 50 m away - a bit too shallow for real swimming, but awesome for a quick getting into water and relaxing on a sand in mornings and evenings. A proper beach, also practivally empty, is within walking distance - go left when you leave the appartment area. There are also two restaurants nearby: one fancy and expensive 3 min walking to the right; another one quite special but worth experimenting some 10 mins walk to the left. But what’s epecially recolmended - order some food from the hotel manager Nora. She’s great and very helpful in every aspect, and she can cook awesome dishes. In terms of delight-for-money, Nora’s dinners were probably the best among everything we’ve tried on the three islands (well, maybe except for the fresh carpaccio from tuna which I caught myself:) You’ll need a car to be getting around the island. Yasad has sufficient parking and is located reasonably convenient.

The washing machine in our appartment was not operational, but hey. Nothing is perfect.

Good location, very open and welcoming host.

As we left we found a series of bites on us - most probably it’s bed bugs.

Lovely little house within a small residence. Comfortable and quiet with a lovely little beach just across the road. Not really for swimming though. The restaurant opposite is very good with great service and a wonderful view of the sunset.

A little too isolated if you are not comfortable using a bus.
